Nahidlaw Ako Sa Imo
Print Design
2024

A paper souvenir that reflects my personal relationship with Ilonggo, employing the visual language of penmanship and language-learning workbooks. Dotted lines and structures recall the learning process, while a Filipino script typeface embeds cultural context. Tracing the imperfect letterforms mimics the experience with the language, inviting misinterpretation. The didactic statement is styled like a language worksheet, providing context on distance from home, culture, and language.

Set in Dangwa Free by Aaron Amar and Arial.
